WEYMOUTH, MA ISSUED October 19, 2015…….Mark Snyder, owner of Snyder Jewelers in South Weymouth, announced today Snyder Jeweler’s 10 for 10 Giving Back Campaign for being recognized for ten consecutive years as Weymouth’s Best Jeweler.
In June of this year, the local community voted and Snyder Jewelers received a Readers Choice Award from Gatehouse Media Publications as Weymouth’s Best Jeweler for the 10th year in a row.
As a thank you to the community, Snyder Jewelers will be celebrating this milestone by giving back. For the next 10 months, Snyder Jewelers employees will be spending their time sponsoring town events, speaking to college business students, participating in town clean-up efforts, sponsoring regional programs, sending care packages to military troops, hosting a toy drive and much more.
An active member of the community and member of many local associations, Snyder Jewelers has always proudly given back, sponsoring schools, teams and many civic fundraising events throughout the local region but will be taking it one step further as a team to show their gratitude.
“We want to celebrate 10 years of being awarded by giving back to the citizens and other business owners who make Snyder Jewelers who we are today. Our community has been a huge part of our success and throughout the years has given us the opportunity to establish loyalty, trust and quality service,” said Snyder. Adding, “Snyder Jewelers 10 for 10 Giving Back Campaign is about paying it forward to a community we care about. I love being in Weymouth, and thank Weymouth and surrounding towns for their vote and confidence in us.”
To kick off the 10 for 10 Giving Back Campaign, Snyder Jewelers employee, Tiffany Ferrini, participated in the Cystic Fibrosis Climb held October 4th, with donation support from Snyder Jewelers. For November’s 10 for 10, Ferrini and Suzanne Snyder will take part in the upcoming Saint Francis Xavier School- SFX 5k Road Race with Snyder Jewelers being a Sponsor for the event.

Snyder Jewelers 10 for 10 Giving Back Campaign – December Supports Care Packs of Weymouth
In recognition of being awarded Weymouth’s Best Jeweler for the 10th year in a row, and Best Jeweler in Region for 3 consecutive years, Snyder Jewelers will be giving back to the citizens and other business owners over a 10 month period by volunteering or donating to a specific community organization or charity each month.
For December, Snyder Jewelers (South Weymouth) made a monetary donation to Care Packs in Weymouth, a non-profit organization—staffed and managed entirely by volunteers—that is dedicated to sending care packages to US deployed troops around the world.
Snyder Jewelers kicked off the 10 for 10 campaign in October and since has supported and donated to the Saint Francis Xavier School and the Cystic Fibrosis Climb.

Snyder Jewelers 10 for 10 Giving Back Campaign – January/February 2016-Sharing the Love
Snyder Jewelers continues to give back to the citizens and other business owners in the region, as a thank you for being awarded in 2015, Weymouth’s Best Jeweler for the 10th year in a row and Best Jeweler in Region for 3 consecutive years.
During the month of February, Snyder Jewelers made a monetary donation to the Abington Food Pantry as well as the Weymouth Food Pantry.
For January’s 10 for 10, Snyder Jewelers (South Weymouth) sponsored, along with other local businesses, the HUG Foundation’s Boston Bruins Alumni Hockey Game held in Rockland —The HUG Foundation gives to individuals, families and groups whose lives have been touched by illness, accident or financial hardship.

When it comes to community, Snyder Jewelers Store Manager, Tiffany Ferrini is not afraid to dive right in!
For March’s 10 for 10, Snyder Jewelers sponsored Tiffany to take the Polar Plunge into the icy, cold Atlantic Ocean on March 5th.
The Polar Plunge supports Special Olympic athletes throughout Massachusetts, with every dollar committing to year round sports training and competition for nearly 12,000 athletes, giving each an opportunity to participate and help them live longer, happier, healthier lives through sports programs.

During the month of April, Snyder Jewelers continued to reach the local community through in-kind donations.
Snyder Jewelers sponsored both the Home of the Phoenix and South Shore Hospital’s Friends of Home Care.
The 13th Annual Kickin’ Up Country for Home Care event, sponsored by the Friends of Home Care at South Shore Hospital, helps buy equipment used for home visits by Hospice and VNA clinicians and provides direct patient financial assistance whenever possible. Snyder Jewelers also sponsored Home of the Phoenix’s 2nd Annual Rise from the Ashes Suicide Prevention Walk held in Weymouth.
